Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional situational awareness
- Operate radio systems to dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources
- Maintain detailed incident logs using CAD software
- Provide critical information to field units during active incidents
- Coordinate with other agencies during multi-jurisdictional emergencies
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Experience in customer service or high-stress environments preferred
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
