Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units efficiently during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate radio logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to first responders and the public
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and emergency alert technologies
- Coordinate with other agencies during large-scale emergencies
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with high accuracy
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- No felony convictions
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
