Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with calm efficiency
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate radio communications protocols
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency responses
- Enter and maintain detailed incident reports
- Operate emergency alert systems (e.g., Amber Alert)
- Provide crisis intervention to callers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Type minimum 40 WPM (certified test required)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- No felony convictions
- Strong situational judgment abilities
