Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and compassion
- Coordinate multi-agency responses (police, fire, EMS) during critical incidents
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communications
- Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation
- Provide life-saving pre-arrival instructions to callers
- Collaborate with field units during emergency situations
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Arizona Driver's License at time of hire
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph
- Experience in customer service or high-pressure environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingualism highly valued)
- No felony convictions
