Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with accuracy and compassion
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units during emergencies
- Enter and maintain detailed incident reports in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide critical information to first responders during critical incidents
- Remain calm under pressure while managing multiple simultaneous tasks
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Clear criminal background and drug-free
- Ability to pass psychological evaluation and polygraph examination
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Strong multitasking abilities with exceptional situational awareness
- Experience in customer service or high-stress environments preferred
