Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate CAD/RMS systems for real-time incident tracking
- Coordinate resources between police, fire, and EMS units
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Adhere to FCC regulations and department protocols
- Provide crisis intervention during critical incidents
- Train on multi-agency communication procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office suite)
- Clear speaking voice with professional demeanor
