Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with precision and composure
- Dispatch appropriate units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate with EMS, Fire, and other agencies during critical incidents
- Operate radio, telephone, and alerting systems per protocol
- Provide crisis intervention and information to callers
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear communication skills (bilingual Spanish/English preferred)
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry aptitude
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
