Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and dispatch appropriate emergency services
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio equipment
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and logs
- Provide critical information to field units and other agencies
- Adhere to FCC regulations and department protocols
- Assist with training exercises and scenario simulations
- Participate in continuous skills development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (tested during application)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear articulation and strong listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
