Responsibilities
- Answer and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Operate multi-line phone systems, radio equipment, and CAD software
- Relay critical information to first responders with accuracy and urgency
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Remain calm during high-pressure situations following established protocols
- Coordinate resources during multi-agency emergencies
- Complete all required training modules within designated timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to type 35+ WPM (will be tested)
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanor offenses
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
