Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls, prioritize incidents, and dispatch appropriate units
- Operate radio systems, CAD software, and 911 equipment during training
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergency situations
- Undergo rigorous paid training in emergency protocols and department procedures
- Perform multi-tasking in high-pressure environments
- Communicate effectively with diverse populations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer proficiency
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
