Responsibilities
- Process high-volume emergency and non-emergency calls with prioritization accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical personnel using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed incident logs and comply with NIMS protocols
- Operate multi-channel radio systems during critical incidents
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during major emergencies
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Train on E911 protocols and FCC regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 45 WPM typing certification
- Valid driver's license and clean record
- Ability to pass extensive background check
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- No felony convictions
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
