Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate field units
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time incident tracking
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and reports
- Coordinate with EMS, Fire, and other city agencies
- Provide crisis intervention and caller reassurance
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 50 WPM typing certification
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts (nights/weekends/holidays)
- Experience in high-stress customer service or call centers
- Proficiency in Windows OS and basic software
- Fluency in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
