Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police officers, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical emergency instructions to callers during crises
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major incidents
- Operate radio systems and specialized emergency equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid Georgia driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Basic computer proficiency and multi-tasking ability
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
