Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and efficiency
- Operate radio systems and dispatch appropriate emergency services
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time tracking of units and incidents
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers during critical situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 18 years of age at time of hire
- Ability to pass comprehensive background investigation
- Valid Florida Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional listening skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
