Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines with exceptional accuracy
- Dispatch police units using CAD systems while maintaining real-time situational awareness
- Provide critical pre-arrival instructions to callers during medical/fire/police incidents
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio systems and specialized emergency software with precision
- Adhere to NIMS protocols and departmental SOPs during all communications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Strong multitasking abilities under high-pressure scenarios
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new technologies
- Clear diction and excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be 18+ years old and a US citizen
- Availability for flexible shift rotations (evenings/weekends)
