Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police/fire/EMS responses
- Maintain detailed incident logs and computer-aided dispatch records
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support to callers
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Utilize CAD systems and mapping software for efficient dispatching
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Clear communication skills (written/spoken English)
- Basic computer proficiency with typing 35+ WPM
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
