Responsibilities
- Dispatch police officers and emergency services to critical incidents with precision and urgency
- Monitor radio communications and prioritize incoming emergency calls using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate incident logs and provide real-time updates to responding units
- Coordinate with fire, EMS, and other agencies during multi-jurisdictional emergencies
- Remain calm and professional during high-stress crisis situations
- Complete all required training modules to achieve full dispatcher certification
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and departmental policies
Qualifications
