Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with calm professionalism
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Operate radio equipment and specialized communication technology
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute accurately
- U.S. citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- Pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Fluent English proficiency with clear diction
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer literacy and multitasking aptitude
