Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and empathy
- Operate CAD/RMS systems to dispatch police units and maintain detailed records
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies and natural disasters
- Maintain constant situational awareness through radio communication
- Adhere to strict protocols for sensitive information and crisis management
- Participate in continuous training on new technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
