Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Dispatch officers and emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident logs and radio communications
- Provide critical information to first responders during active incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Operate radio consoles and emergency notification systems
- Perform data entry and record management duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (certification required)
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer literacy and data entry proficiency
- Valid driver's license with clean record
