Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with empathy and professionalism
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and update critical information in CAD systems accurately
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies seamlessly
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-stress situations
- U.S. citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- No felony convictions and clean background record
- Pass drug screening and psychological evaluation
- Available to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
