Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate law enforcement units
- Operate CAD/RMS systems for accurate incident documentation
- Maintain precise radio communication protocols
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Perform multi-tasking in high-pressure situations
- Adhere to all FCC and NENA regulations
- Complete initial 16-week certification program
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to type 35+ WPM
- Clear criminal background check
- Pass drug screening and polygraph examination
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts (including nights/weekends)
- Strong situational judgment and composure
- Basic computer proficiency
