Responsibilities
- Process high-volume 911 calls with precision and compassion
- Coordinate emergency responses across police, fire, and medical units
- Operate CAD/RMS systems to track incidents and resources
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and actions
- Provide critical information to first responders during active incidents
- Adhere to strict protocols for crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams during major emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (certification required)
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- No criminal history (background check required)
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Pass psychological evaluation and drug screening
- US citizenship or legal resident status
