Responsibilities
- Operate emergency communication systems and dispatch police/fire/EMS units
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Utilize CAD systems and mapping technologies
- Process 911 calls and prioritize response protocols
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Complete departmental training modules and certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing minimum 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to work rotating shifts and high-pressure situations
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- No felony convictions
