Responsibilities
- Operate radio communication systems to dispatch police officers and emergency services
- Process 911 calls with accuracy and urgency while maintaining composure under pressure
- Utilize CAD systems to log incident details and track unit locations
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and actions taken
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency (35+ WPM)
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- No felony convictions
- Must be 18 years or older
