Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate multi-channel radio systems for law enforcement/fire/EMS coordination
- Maintain accurate digital logs and incident documentation
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time resource deployment tracking
- Provide critical pre-arrival instructions to callers during emergencies
- Collaborate with field units during active incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA/GDPR protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Clear communication skills (written/spoken)
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry experience
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
