Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS personnel efficiently using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and emergency communication equipment
- Provide critical information to field units during critical incidents
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance crisis management skills
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to type 40+ WPM (typing test required post-application)
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Clear verbal communication skills (multiple language a plus)
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data entry)
