Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and compassion
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and maintain critical incident data in CAD systems with 100% accuracy
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Maintain constant situational awareness during critical incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies across Guilford County
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Pass comprehensive background investigation and polygraph examination
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in customer service or high-pressure environments
- Certification in CPR/First Aid within 90 days of hire
- U.S. citizenship and residency in North Carolina
