Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police responses
- Input critical data into computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergencies
- Collaborate with officers, fire, and EMS teams
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent communication and listening skills
