Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate radio systems to coordinate emergency services response
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incidents
- Utilize CAD systems to track units and manage resources
- Provide critical information to officers in the field
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
- Participate in continuous training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (verified)
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Clear criminal background check and drug screen
- Fluency in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Pass written and psychological evaluations
- Valid Florida driver's license
