Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
- Operate multi-channel radio systems for police, fire, and EMS units
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time incident tracking and resource allocation
- Provide critical information to field units during active emergencies
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate with other public safety agencies during multi-jurisdictional events
- Remain calm and professional under high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 18 years of age at time of hire
- Pass extensive background investigation and polygraph examination
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Valid Nevada driver's license (Class C)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and psychological evaluation
