Responsibilities
- Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls from the public.
- Enter and maintain accurate incident reports and records in computer systems.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to the scene of incidents.
- Monitor and operate radio communications equipment effectively.
- Provide information and assistance to callers during crisis situations.
- Collaborate with field units to coordinate responses and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal residency status.
- Valid Driverβs License (or ability to obtain one) required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
