Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls with exceptional speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police officers, fire, and EMS units to emergencies
- Maintain radio communications during critical incidents
- Enter and update real-time data in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide pre-arrival emergency medical instructions
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during disasters
- Document all interactions with meticulous detail
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (test required)
- Ability to multitask under extreme pressure
- Clear speaking voice with neutral accent
- Basic computer literacy and tech aptitude
- 18+ years old (must meet TCOLE requirements)
