Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery using automated and manual systems
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service when assisting customers with mail inquiries
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and postal regulations for timeliness
- Report maintenance issues for delivery vehicles and equipment
- Assist with mail processing duties at postal facilities as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
