Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate and maintain USPS vehicles safely in all weather conditions
- Collect postage, fees, and signatures for registered/certified mail
- Complete accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points and post offices
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and service standards
- Assist with mail processing operations during peak periods
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
