Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages according to established routes and schedules
- Operate mail vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle maintenance logs
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at postal facilities
- Report delivery irregularities and address customer inquiries with professionalism
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation
- Adhere to all postal regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with special mail handling during peak seasons or events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and operate mail vehicles
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
