Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Load/unload mail efficiently using proper lifting techniques
- Operate delivery scanners and maintain route documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and at post office counters
- Report maintenance issues for delivery vehicles and equipment
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent residency with valid work authorization
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
