Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customer collection points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Operate postal vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Perform basic maintenance checks on assigned delivery equipment
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and service standards
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and walk 5-8 miles daily
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
