Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS protocols
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at mailboxes and post offices
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities or customer concerns
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure vehicle readiness
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and service quality metrics
- Collaborate with sorting staff and supervisors to optimize delivery operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and route navigation skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems and reporting
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
