Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Process customer transactions at the Post Office counter when required
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and service standards
- Identify and report suspicious packages or mail irregularities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
