Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute mail efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate postal machinery including scanners, scales, and sorting equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and via phone inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report mail irregularities promptly
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and operational standards
- Assist with inventory management and supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong time management and route optimization abilities
- Spanish fluency preferred for bilingual communities
