Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort, organize, and process incoming/outgoing mail according to USPS regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and address inquiries
- Monitor and report mail irregularities or suspicious activities
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and weather protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and walk 5-8 miles daily
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
