Responsibilities
- Sort, distribute, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service at mailboxes and collection points
- Operate automated mail processing equipment efficiently
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Manage daily mail volume and delivery schedules
- Report maintenance issues for postal equipment and facilities
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
