Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages along assigned routes using postal vehicles
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from designated mailboxes and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues promptly
- Operate postal equipment safely and efficiently (vehicles, scanners, etc.)
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with residents
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (2+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and walk 5-8 miles daily
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
