Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages according to delivery routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report discrepancies
- Provide courteous customer service at residential/business stops
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with seasonal mail volume surges as needed
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for scanning/record-keeping
- Reliable transportation to depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
