Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and distribute mail/packages according to established routes and schedules
- Operate mail processing equipment and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service at post offices and along delivery routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries/complaints
- Adhere to all USPS policies, safety regulations, and security protocols
- Perform facility maintenance and equipment upkeep duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn postal systems
