Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Perform mail collection from designated boxes and businesses
- Assist with special mail services (certified, registered, etc.)
- Report delivery issues and coordinate with supervisors
- Participate in continuous training on postal regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Physical ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in various weather conditions
