Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Safely operate postal vehicles while following traffic regulations
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery routes and postal standards
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Operate handheld scanning devices for tracking and verification
- Adhere to all USPS safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6-8 hours daily)
