Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail according to postal regulations and delivery sequence
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report discrepancies or suspicious activity
- Operate delivery vehicles responsibly and perform routine safety checks
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with residents and businesses
- Adhere to all USPS policies, safety protocols, and time management standards
- Assist with mail processing duties at distribution centers as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and walk 5-8 miles daily
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
