Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Process customer transactions at post offices including sales, returns, and inquiries
- Operate automated mail processing equipment with precision and efficiency
- Conduct daily route inspections and report maintenance needs for vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to strict security protocols and confidentiality standards for all mail items
- Provide courteous service to customers at mailboxes and post office locations
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Previous customer service experience preferred
